Our Story

The Name

Consider all the movies, novels, TV shows, music, sports, video games, and social media feeds we enjoy daily. All these things grow from storytelling – a powerful and uniquely human phenomenon and little else intensely saturates our lives. We are attracted to stories because they please us, but most of what is actually in fiction is deeply disturbing. Even if the problem isn't death or despair, you can bet there will still be a problem. Without one, there is no story. And the more terrible the problem, the more we tend to like the story. The more it inspires. The more it amazes. The more AWE-some it is. This exciting paradox is what inspired the name Awe-Full.

The Process

You call and say, "Hey, we need a video." Then we make the video. It's a little more complicated than that, but we keep things simple. An experiential project is unlike a video, which differs from a rebrand. We employ various processes to fit each client's particular needs and problems they are trying to solve.

Our Team

Owner / Creative Director

Travis Schlitter

Travis is the founder and chief creative at Awe-Full. Before launching the company in 2015, he worked at advertising agencies and production companies and was recently the professor of motion design at Fort Hays State University.

Creativity was a part of growing up for Schlitter. Artistic inspiration was rampant, from sketching futuristic aircraft and telling elaborate science fiction stories with his father to directing skate videos and drawing cartoons with his three younger brothers.

Despite specializing in motion design, animation, and visual effects, Travis has also worked as a director, editor, writer, and creative strategist. Whether working in traditional graphic design mediums or immersive virtual reality experiences, he strives to produce meaningful content that tells a story.
