Crafting the Visual Pulse of the JD6 Brand

In the new era of Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), elite college athletes are no longer just players—they are burgeoning brands. When Kansas University quarterback Jalon Daniels was ready to unveil his personal brand, JD6, Awe-Full partnered with Kansas City-based agency Mammoth to execute the post-production for his high-octane debut film. While Mammoth spearheaded the production and narrative direction, Awe-Full was brought in to translate the raw footage into a cinematic launch piece that matches the caliber and charisma of a Big 12 leader.


Our role focused on elevating the production through a rigorous post-production pipeline. We handled the primary edit, weaving together dynamic action highlights with stylized lifestyle footage to establish a cohesive visual identity for the JD6 brand. To give the piece its "pro-level" finish, we integrated custom motion graphics, professional color grading, and specialized visual effects tailored to the athlete’s aesthetic. Despite a condensed timeline and a lean budget, we focused on high-impact finishing techniques that maximized the footage's potential, delivering a final render that feels expensive, polished, and ready for the national stage.
